Marina Gavrilina, Member of the Law Society of Ontario, License No. P09080

Marina Gavrilina is the owner and principal paralegal at Apriori Legal Services Professional Corporation.  APRIORI Legal Services Professional Corporation was registered by the Ministry of Government Services of Ontario on December 10th, 2013 under #1908310. The Certificate of Approval was issued by the Law Society of Ontario on January 03rd, 2014 under #C04874.

Marina is an accomplished paralegal with extensive business experience that gives her a unique perspective on the application of law. Having worked for many years as an entrepreneur and having founded a number of successful businesses, she moved into the legal field and is known to find unorthodox solutions to seemingly unsolvable cases.

In 2000, Ms. Gavrilina won her first precedent-setting case in the Landlord and Tenant Board over excessive noise generated by a contractor while renovating balconies in the apartment building, she lived in at the time.

In 2013, after working for several years at the UFCW and then at American Express, Marina graduated with honors from Paralegal  Diploma Program at Seneca College and having received her paralegal license in June 2013, began her legal practice.

Marina is licensed to provide legal services and act as representatives in matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Small Claims Court, the Provincial Offences Court, Landlord and Tenant Board, Immigration and Refugee Board, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and other administrative tribunals.

Marina is also certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution which allows her to effectively act in the pre-trial stages in the courts.
